Who will enjoy this Beginners Introductory Class?
This is a full day class for beginners who would like to try their hand at Floral Design. In this class you will learn the fundamental basics and get exposure to the wedding floristry industry with some practical flower arranging / floral design skills.

What will you learn?
This class is divided into 3 modules:
- Module 1: Basic floristry
- We will give you a brief introduction to flower types & working with colour.
- Brief overview of the basic floristry tools and you will have the pleasure of using our tools for the duration of the class.
- You will learn how to process & condition your flowers like a PRO so that they can stay fresher for longer.
- Module 2: Wedding or Function Guest Table Flower Arrangements
- Practical: Guest table flower arrangement (each attendee will make their own under Tangerine’s guidance – yours to take home).
- Module 3: Bridal Bouquet Design
- Practical: Creating a Bridal Bouquet (each attendee will make their own under Tangerine’s guidance – yours to take home).
IMPORTANT NOTE: We will be contacting each attendee to establish floral preferences before we decide on what flowers, colour palette and styling will be using for this class. When & where:
Date: Friday, 19 May 2023 from 09:00 till 17:00.
This is an in-person class, you will need to attend in-person.
Venue: We have three venues that we love to work with in Cape Town – each venue catering for a different group size. We will share the directions and full address with you as soon as the group size for this class is established. Holding back your booking to wait to hear where the venue is could result in you loosing out on a seat at this class. Please do book early to avoid disappointment.
Entry requirements:
No previous experience needed- this class is perfect for beginners!

Your investment
R 3,500 per person
Want to pay off in installments? We’ve got you! R 1500 secures your seat after which you will pay off the balance of the course fee monthly with the last payment due no later than 9 May 2023.

We would like to have 15 to 20 students for this class, but we are also happy to run this class for a micro group of 3 to 5 students – keeping it small to ensure you get quality learning.
Therefore seats are limited and will be sold at a first come first serve basis.
